All is not well at the Governor’s Forum secretariat right now. Thebladengr.com, learnt that the nation’s anti fraud body, the EFCC has quizzed the Director General, Asishana Okauru, over alleged forged documents used in receiving funds from the Paris Club loot.
It was gathered that the DG and three others have been quizzed over the letter from Nigeria Governors’ Forum which engaged and authorised them to receive huge sums of money.
Our source revealed that the current DG of the Forum was seen at the EFCC headquarters few fays ago where he had visited to answer questions over the alleged forged documents.
The three others, Mr. George Oboh and two lawyers-Barr. Udeh and Barr. Solomon are reported to have received the sum of N3.7b, N400m and N600m respectively with the said documents.
We also gathered that the EFCC, has also invited a former DG of the forum, Mr. Osaro Onaiwu, over the investigations.
